NOW HIRING — WOOD-FIRED PIZZA ASSISTANT
Wingert Bakehaus is looking for an energetic and dependable team member to help with our wood-fired pizza nights and community events.
This position is fast-paced and hands-on, helping with pizza preparation, oven support, topping pizzas, customer interaction, event setup, and maintaining a clean work area during service. We’re looking for someone who can move with urgency, stay calm under pressure, and work as part of a tight-knit team.
Schedule:
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Additional hours may be available for farmers markets and community events
Pay:
$14–$16 per hour depending on experience
Requirements:
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
• Comfortable working around an open wood fire
• Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy rushes
• Comfortable working outdoors during events and pizza service
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented and detail-focused
