Description
Community Action and the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission are gathering people from across the community - residents, business owners, educators, service providers, and local leaders - to help identify Burlington’s greatest strengths: the programs and places that are making a difference.
What is Asset Mapping?
Asset mapping is a community activity to identify the people, places, organizations, and resources that make Burlington strong.
Instead of focusing on what’s missing, Asset Mapping focuses on what’s already working and how to build on those strengths to improve health and equity in our community.
No prep needed, just bring your insight and experience. This is your chance to make sure the organizations you see making a difference every day are recognized and can be utilized as a resource . Your input will help shape future projects, partnerships, and investments in our community.
Please RSVP by filling out this
Google form. If you know someone else who should be in the room, feel free invite them. This event is free and open to the public.
The meeting will take place at 6 PM Thursday, May 29 in Meeting Room A at Burlington Public Library.
