The Greater Burlington Partnership will celebrate Manufacturers Appreciation Month with the annual Manufacturers Appreciation Luncheon on October 2 from 11 am – 1 pm.
The luncheon is a great opportunity for local businesses to connect with other business and industry leaders, recognize the impact of manufacturing in our community, and connect with the next generation of workers. The event will feature lunch, local vendors, an award presentation, and a workforce and market update from Beth Townsend, Executive Director of Iowa Workforce Development.
Local high school students interested in manufacturing will also be invited to attend and sit with businesses that purchase a table. This provides businesses with a valuable opportunity to meet students, share what their company does, and showcase the career opportunities available in manufacturing and other local industries.
