The Greater Burlington Community Cup is a team-based community challenge hosted by the Greater Burlington Partnership and taking place between September 15 and October 21, 2025. Designed to celebrate local attractions and promote community involvement, this event invites teams from area businesses and organizations to earn points by completing a variety of fun, local activities.
Challenges range from attending live events and exploring outdoor spaces to volunteering, taking photos, and more. Points are logged online and verified with proof of participation. At the end of the competition, the team with the highest score will be awarded the traveling Community Cup trophy!
Any business, organization, or nonprofit located in the Greater Burlington area is welcome to form a team. Participation is open to employees, members, volunteers, or any group representing the same entity.
Teams consist of 2 - 6 players, and a business/organization can enter multiple teams.
Eligible activities occur throughout Greater Burlington between September 15 and October 21. Most challenges can be completed at your team’s convenience - including hikes, museum visits, lunches, photo ops, and more - while others align with scheduled community events. A full list of eligible activities is available below.
Teams can register until October 1.
Each eligible activity is assigned a point value. Once a challenge is completed, teams submit participation forms online. Challenges reset every Monday, meaning teams can score points for the same activity each week.
Some challenges require the entire team to be present, while others earn points if only one player participates.
Weekly leaderboard updates will highlight the standings, and the final winner will be announced after all submissions are reviewed.
Eligible activities must be completed and submitted between September 14 and October 23
