Leadership 2.0 Application

The Leadership 2.0 program will provide local community leaders the opportunity to expand their leadership skills. Developed by James Songster and Sue Schank both of whom boast over six decades of combined leadership training experience at the Walt Disney Company, Leadership 2.0 will help individuals identify their skill levels, build their skills into strengths, and enjoy exemplary performance in the pursuit of essential objectives.

Each leadership session examines a fundamental tool or skill leaders need in today’s competitive business world. Whether you're looking to refine your communication skills, strengthen your decision-making abilities, or cultivate a more inclusive leadership style, Leadership 2.0 has something for everyone.

Selection Process, Tuition, & Program Dates

The Leadership 2.0 program will be limited to 35 participants. In our inaugural year of programming, we will accept the first 35 applicants into the program.

Given the limited spots available for participation in Leadership 2.0 each year, applicants who are not chosen are encouraged to reapply in following years. Additionally, a maximum of two candidates per company will be selected for participation annually. If there ends up being space, this will be reconsidered on a case by case basis.

Tuition for the Leadership 2.0 Program is as follows:

  • Greater Burlington Leadership Alumni: $500
  • Chamber of Commerce Member of staff member: $550
  • Non-Chamber of Commerce Member: $650

This covers ALL program costs including meals, materials, and monthly accommodations.

No tuition fee is due before acceptance into the program. You will be notified and billed after acceptance.

Payment of tuition is required upon acceptance into the program. Because funds are utilized immediately, no refunds will be made after August 31, 2024.
