DESCRIPTION:Greater Burlington Community Cup\nThe Greater Burlington Community Cup is a community-wide challenge that invites local businesses\, nonprofits\, and organizations to compete for the title of Community Cup Champion.Teams earn points by getting out into the community and participating in activities throughout Greater Burlington. Whether it's attending local events\, supporting small businesses\, volunteering\, enjoying live music downtown\, exploring local attractions\, or taking part in community programs\, every activity brings your team one step closer to the top of the leaderboard.Designed to celebrate community pride and encourage local involvement\, the Community Cup is a fun way to engage your team while discovering everything our community has to offer.At the end of the competition\, the team with the highest point total will take home the traveling Community Cup trophy and earn a place on the championship plaque displayed at the Greater Burlington Partnership office.\nWho Can Participate?Any Chamber Member business\, organization\, or nonprofit.Teams can be made up of employees\, members/customers\, volunteers\, or any group representing you.Teams are 4 players.Multiple teams per organization are allowed.\nHow Do I Earn Points?Participants will use the Community Cup app to view challenges\, submit completed activities\, and track team standings throughout the competition. Challenges may be completed at any time and in any order. Additional bonus challenges will be released throughout the competition to highlight each week's theme and provide even more opportunities to earn points.Each player earns points individually by completing challenges. Every point earned contributes to your team's overall score\, helping your team climb the leaderboard and compete for the Community Cup trophy.\nHow Long is the Community Cup?September 1 - 30.Theme WeeksEach week of the Community Cup features a new theme that offers bonus points for participating in certain challenges.Week 1: Eat LocalEarn extra points for dining local or participating in pop up challenges like "Eat an Extra Dessert Day" or "Cheese Pizza Day".Week 2: Cy-Hawk SeriesThe Cy-Hawk Series tracks the head-to-head match-ups between the Cyclones and Hawkeyes. Earn extra points this week by being active or wearing any college or team apparel. Week 3: HistoryEarn extra points by completing challenges related to local or national history.  This includes visiting local museums or wearing red\, white\, and blue on Patriot Day.Week 4: Small BusinessEarn extra points by visiting and supporting local businesses in Greater Burlington.Week 5: Community ServiceEarn extra points by giving back.
