The Community Impact Award recognizes an individual, business, or organization that has made a significant impact on Greater Burlington in 2024.
Award winners will be announced at the 2024 Annual Dinner on January 24, where they will claim their award in front of 500 community leaders, business owners, and peers.
Application Tips
A strong and well-written application is powerful and compelling to the judges. Consider these important points:
- Its About You! This is an opportunity for your company to receive well-deserved recognition for the many accomplishments of the past few years. The judges want to hear about the accomplishments and successes of the company. Bragging is encouraged!
- Understanding the Evaluation Process. Judges are a mix of Chamber Ambassadors and the Annual Dinner Committee members. They will consider how closely the nomination meets the award description and rate how well the details given supports the nomination.
- Tell a Story. Paint a unique picture of your history, entrepreneurial spirit, and accomplishments. Examples: Why was the renovation important to your business? What impact do you hope to have on the community or your staff?
- Be Informative. Not all of the judges will be experts in your field. Write as if you are talking to a stranger.

- Winning business or organization must be a Chamber of Commerce member.
